To most people the word punk is associated with kids with green and blue hair and safety pins in their cheeks. Some, it was and always will be a way of life. Punk music to me is loud and aggressive and a form of release from the tensions of the day to day grind. Songs about Truth, Justice, and Freedom an overall anti-government, big business, corporate anything kind of music made to be poignant, visceral and for the most part mercurial. With bands such as grammy award winning punk band Green Day reaching levels that surpass most all other bands with record sales and overall attendance selling out arena's in all parts of the world and being one of the largest bands in the world, its hard to say that punk is dead.
